Chase some sun

Ted Poppy and i met up with Eion at the top of Lea bridge rd, watched some rainbows while Ted fixed Poppys punture then headed up the a104 to meet the woods further up so we could ride in the sun for longer and get to the tea huts for a brew and bread pudding. Real sticky mud, stuggling on a few inclines even with our relativly light gearing. Ted n poppy were cheating riding mtbs but i wanted mine towards the end. A december dip in the duckpond to clean off then head yonder. Got off a bit earlier this time and the daylight made for more of a dayout. One day an actual am start?. I know its difficult what with hangovers and lazybones but its worth it.
The woods are good.

Douched bush

Last weekend of november. onLY 4 OF US. Thom, Robin Chris and myself. It was soo wet. Proper hammering it down, almost the whole time. Then i got us lost at every turn on the run back thats where i'll take you: nowhere, lost, cold, shivering and hopeless. Come lets go get lost.

Trip to eden

First outing was spontaneous and after a coupla days of heavy rain. Just means more and bigger puddles to play in. One half decent light between the 5 of us and in the dark. Soo much fun. Tom still had a slick rear tyre too, i dont think we took any tools or tubes just a camera in 2 plasic bags. Thom, Ted, and myself Met Keith n Eion halfway up the Leabridge rd and hit some shingly bumpy bits around the duckponds then it was and a half hour puddle session and singletrack blitzing for 15 minutes, blind and making our own paths.
We'll go in the daylight next time and have a larger crew to loose. Sun the 29th in the piss in whatever grog or fog yer in FUCKERS!!! Prob introduce a pub lunch in there maybe. So thats tomorrow...
